Mistaken for Puerto Rican another victim of officer Kwiatkowski

“This is Mr. Answeenie, beaten in 2007  by officer Kwiatkowski and two other Buffalo cops at a “white” south buffalo bar. Mistaken for being Puerto Rican, Mr. Answeenie was beaten while anti-latino racial slurs were hurled at him as he was thrown out of the bar by Kwiatkowski and two other Buffalo cops. Answeenie, as it turns out, is Italian,” a source familiar with the case sent the information to this blog.”

Lt. Greg Kwiatkowski suspended Friday, July 16, 2010 from Buffalo Police Department for physically attacking one of his subordinates for trying to transfer from his supervision. Other cops had to intervene when Kwiatowksi charged at him.

Lt. Kwiatkowski is the same officer involved in the Officer Cariol Horne disciplinary hearing. She was fired on May 2008 on 11 of 13 charges one of them for allegedly jumping on Kwiatkowski back and harassing him. Officer Horne is an African-American female standing about 5′ and 2 ” while Kwiatkowski is over 6 ‘ tall.
